At long last, some 3 years or so after it was originally composed, the acceptance speech of joe, a chicken has been demoed in its full form. Check it out.
I’ve uploaded acoustic versions of under a bad star and the acceptance speech of joe, a chicken with vocals.
Circles in squares and the things i should have seen but did not are now available with vocals, though I’ve left the old, er, “karaoke” versions up. I plan to spend most of the rest of today adding vocals and uploading more of those older acoustic-guitar-only demos.
Wistful has a demo now. Check it out!
I’m not sure what I’ll record next, but I have felt more productive lately than I have in a long, long time, so there’s surely more to come.
Not much to say today, but there is a spot of good news/bad news. My fingers hurt, but that’s because I’ve been recording again. I made a minor update to the lyrics for wistful, which I am now in the process of demoing. This is a kickass song, I love the way it’s coming together. It’s short and sweet, and it says a lot without using too many words. But oh how my fingers hurt.
Anyway, I’m sure I’ll still be dealing with muddy vocals, though in other good news/bad news, I do think I’ve narrowed it down to the microphone. It is about 8 years old and it has been moved and banged around quite a bit in that time. The only down side to figuring out what the problem is with the vocal production (not to be confused with the vocal performance) is that there’s really nothing I can do about it just now. Good vocal microphones ain’t free.
